At Crowland Cake Creations I offer a free design consultation so that we can discuss ideas to create your perfect wedding cake.
You may already have an idea of the style of cake you are looking for or may not have a clue where to start and are looking for some guidance. Either way it is always lovely to meet with couples face to face to discuss ideas and to enable me to find out more about you and what you are planning for your big day.
Consultations are for two people although I appreciate that you may want to bring along one or two others – maybe mum and dad – for their input – which is absolutely fine. If you are intending to bring others along to the consultation, please let me know in advance. I can accommodate a maximum of four people at any one time.
Unfortunately wedding cake consultations aren’t particularly child friendly – once they have sampled some cake children tend to get bored pretty quickly which can be a bit of a distraction so, if at all possible, it’s best if you can find a child minder to enable us to focus on the design of what will be one of the focal points of your big day.
If this isn’t possible, please let me know before the consultation.
Once a booking has been confirmed you are more than welcome to have a follow up consultation to finalise details if you would like to.
Bring along any colour samples you have, examples of your wedding stationery if you would like to incorporate details in your cake and get pinning on Pinterest and bring your board along – to give me an idea of the style you are looking for – it just gives us a good reference point to begin the design process.
Consultations include a complimentary cake tasting – for two people – so that you can decide which flavours you would like to incorporate in your wedding cake and so that I can show you that your cakes will be as yummy on the inside as they are beautiful on the outside.
